So, I've done a lot of research but I can't seem to get clarification on the wiring harness issues. I'm swapping my auto tranny to an M5OD in my 02 2WD. I've read in a few swaps that I need the manual engine wiring harness back to the transmission for the ECM and everything to work properly. I was told by the Ford techs that I needed to hard wire it into the the truck to make it work properly but I can't find a proper wiring diagram anywhere to clarify what needs to be spliced and connected. The tech info on the swap here isn't very clear and electronics aren't my strong suit. Please point me in the right direction. :annoyed: Thanks

An auto harness can be made into a manual harness, but it would be easier to just find a manual harness.

It's mostly just resplicing the backup light and park/neutral wires.
