alright start by unbolting the computer witch is located under the kick pannle on the passinger side there is also a ground you will need to unbolt

ill be making this look alot better when i put in the other harness this rat nest of wires is just plan ugly

next i took off the intake box and toob the box has 3 or 4 bolts on the under side of the finder i also took out the radiator so i could paint a few rust spots.make sure to take out the battery or atleast unhook it!

theres a ground wire under the air box on the finder

i had another ground on the back passinger side of the intake manifold witch was wired because it was orange and was just a striped wire no end on it
IMAG0209.jpg
[/IMG]
also one more ground on the side of the coil

[/IMG]
theres a power wire on the starter soleniod the yellow one

now fallow the wires and unplug everything thats conected and pull it to the passenger side

it helps to take off the intake manifold to get the injector plugs i beleve it was 6 bolts
take off the vacuum hose's

[/IMG]
and take off the thottle cable
IMAG0206.jpg
[/IMG]
now just pull it off and unpluge the injector wires mine where burned or melted some how
IMAG0212.jpg
[/IMG]
be sure to cuver the holes for the intake you dont want anything to drop in there
IMAG0214.jpg
[/IMG]
now just pull it threw the fire wall you will have to get the rubber gromet loose first and as your pulling it make sure it doesnt get stuck on any thing
IMAG0213.jpg

so i took the manifold in my house and started to clean it and goin to try to port it as good as i can

ill be updating it as i go

Um why are you pulling the wiring harness out? That little orange wire without the end on it is probably the reason you have no spark, it's the ignition ground. That completely F*cked TFI module connector might be a close second. I think you just did a lot of unnecessary work.

ya prob but i was goin to just change out my dizzy and some sensors but the injector wires are all messed up and melted didnt want to short out any thing one day and a few other wires have been cut and spliced the whole thing is a hack job id feel better with a clean wire harness and its really not a lot of work it took like 30 min to take out with a few cig brakes

Gotta agree with him too. I didn't notice that you had a issue with the orange ground wire being disconnected on your other post about this. Either way, if those were your problem, your taking care of it with a new harness. :icon_thumby:

the orange wire wasint disconected and ya this may be more work than most want to do but my harness is a hack job alot of the plugs have been cut off and just have wire conectors in there place so wether or not the harness is the prob it will atleast be one complete harness not a ****ed up one with braking, corroded and melted wires everywhere :icon_twisted:
o ya and for the tfi module ive tryed 3 differint ones the cracked one tested good as did the othere one i have

so my new harness was for a 90 bronco II and i have an 88 ranger so its not the same it has most of the same plugs so im going to fix mine with parts from it
