Wipers trouble ?

Hi, I have a 2001 ranger Edge and have a trouble with the wiper.
It's works well on the high speed, the washer pump works too but they didn't work on low speed and on the delay !?! Does someone have an idea to fix it ?

i am having the same problem with my 84 ranger. can't seem to get a response as to the problem. a few people seem to think that it is the park switch within the motor. (read this on other sites) so i bought a motor. wrong move. called a good Ford service manager and he suggested that i start from the switch on the steering column and test each wire. i ended up buying a new switch. it was bad internally. maybe this will help, good luck.

can it have anything to do with a relay? or wiper switch

Hi Guys, I have done the tricks to clean the switch but didn't fix my trouble :-(
So i have change for a new column switch and.......didn't fix my problem :-(
Now, i found something on the net, maybe my truck have a wiper control unit or module ?!?. Does someone have an idea what's this and where it's ?

on my 94,It was the intermittant wiper control,part no.17C476-motocraft. It is located under dash, to the right of steering column.

i had a 04 edge and it had the same problem, it was under warranty..ford replaced the wiper motor and it fixed it.

I had a similar issue on my 01. I tried switching relays, cleaning electrodes and taking the stalk apart to clean it and it still had issues. The cure was just replacing the motor. I never had an issue again.
