Wiper/Radio Problem

Hi all:

I have a 91 and am having problems with the windshield wipers and stock radio. They intermittently come come on and turn off.

I already replaced the ignition switch, and that did the trick for about a week until the problem came back. I took everything apart again as well as cleaned all the connections and checked the grounds, and that fixed the problem for a short time. It then came back and the last few days the only way I can get the radio and wipers to work is to twist the ignition forward slightly and hold it.

I'm lost. Any ideas or suggestions?

Honestly. If you have to move the ignition switch to get it to work then I would go back over the ignition switch and see what I missed the first time.

Thanks, I ended up figuring it out this afternoon. Down on the steering column there is a connection with a piece that slides via a rod moved by turning the keys. The connection down there was bad. Didn't realize it was down there and how it worked until I unbolted the steering column bracket from the dash.
