I had previously posted this on "Need Urgent Help" and had a couple of replies which didn't help. They only commented that it's a pain in the ass to do. I have found some printed instructions that includes the removal of the right wiper arm, then the nut holding the shaft through the cowl letting in fall through into the space below. This doesn't seem to make much sense and how difficult is it to get the shaft back up through the opening to reinstall the nut?

If any of you gurus have experience with changing the wiper motor - please comment.

That sounds about right to me. Shouldn't be hard at all unless like me you have large hands. Then you might need to bend a coat hanger to grab it with.

I had a truck with an arm completely off that I managed to clip back into place with just a bent coat hanger and a screwdriver...
