Could somebody tell me how to get at the windshield wiper linkage on a 1990, 2wd, Ranger? I'm pretty sure the clip has simply popped off the passenger side wiper arm, but I would appreciate some advice on how to get to it rather than poking around till I find it. I'm in the middle of a restoration/turbo swap, and I'm just plain exhausted! LOL Thanks a bunch.

Start by removing the wiper motor. Then lift up on the tab and slide the clip off that holds the linkage to the motor. Remove the cowl access panels. Remove the wiper arms and the pivot shaft nuts that are under the wiper arms. Then drop the linkage into the cowl and fish it out the access hole.

That helps. Thanks a lot.

Make sure you disconnect the battery or the wiper motor connector. If it turns on with your hand in there goodby body parts!

Good advice. Looks like a great way to lose some fingers!
