Wintermark Tires

Anyone ever ran these tires? I just bought a set and wondered if anyone had used them before. The shop told me that I should get 40K+ on them, I dunno. They did come with a road hazard and free every 5K mile rotation plan. They have a roar but not excessive I guess.

I run mostly higway...but wanted something for when I do get in the mud. Here's a few pics of them:

Yeah I have a set of those but mine are studded and they are not the best in the winter time... As for mud and what not I believe they should do decently.

The sidewalls remind me of the ol Powerking tires. 9.00x16's. Damn good tires.

I had a pair of them on my old Astro work van. They worked real well but the van had a posi in it too. Ran them for three winters and they still had decent tread, I left them with the van when I sold it.

i ran them one winter( mine were studded) they didn't do bad on the pavement but for me they sucked when it came to un-plowed township roads. but my truck was only 2 wheel drive with a atv in the bed for weight.

I hope they do well here in KY. Deer season is here and I"m gonna be out and about, I'll know more later about how they do in mud and such. Hopefully it will be a while before I find out about snow.

If they don't have the traction you want then you can always take them in and get them siped in the center for added grip.

i had a set on my old 92 4x4 and they were a great tire at a great value. just beware, if you drive off highway alot, they are only a 4 ply tire and you can easily get a flat...i have.
