Windshield Trim Clips

Hey Guys,

I need some help. I have a 1989 B2. The trim around my windshield was pulling up so I went ahead to see what help it in place (or wasnt any more) a lot of the small metal clips under the trim had rusted to nonexistence.

Where can I find more of these? I dont want to have to toss the trim.

Mine have done the same. My windshield is leaking also. The windshield shop said they would replace them when they took it out to reseal it. You might be able to get them from a shop

In Red Deer Alberta I would go to "CAPS" - Central Alberta Paint Supply. Do you have a wholesale or retail automotive body supply store close by?

I have a leak somewhere in mine too but it seems to be coming through a foam filled hole in my fire wall. I ended up finding some on a restomod mustang site. I think it was $8 for 10 so I am happy.

For others needing clips, most windshield shops or glass shops that do windshield replacements can get the clips for you. In fact most good shops order a clip kit when they do a replacement because they know there will be a lot of bad ones.

Well I switched computers after I added them to my cart on the first one and I guess chrome saved what I entered and applied that to the second cart as well. Lol no alcohol involved this time around. Lol
