Head on over to this link:

The topic starter (jamscal) runs a welding business. I just ordered a bumper for my 2nd gen explorer. He charged me $400 for the bumper with tow points plus $40 for a receiver hitch on it and $140 to ship from Louisville KY to Sudbury, Ontario Canada. Total = $580

He builds to your specs. Last I saw, someone else was asking about a first gen Explorer and he said he was going to get the measurements he needs from a truck at the wreckers.

Hope this helps

great link! wish there was more demand/ supply for aftermarket parts on the rbv's :bawling:

jamesduff.com They have some real nice b2 and early ranger winch bumpers, They can also modify their non winch bumpers IM sure.

all that they have listed is a tire carrier and a rear bumper. but thanks! hadnt thought to check them out.

I cut down an EB bumper to fit an Ex and then made new mounts that sandwich the frame. I could always be persuaded to make another but it aint cheap. I've talked to the Duff gang about making them but they got too much on their plate right now to mess with it. I can get the parts from them and make my own.

Here's when I was working on it.

Here it is installed on my junk.

Forgot to mention.

I also made some side skirts for it to cover between the bumper and the wheel well but I haven't put them on because I'm going to a bigger tire and will have to trim my fender some.

nice i like how it hugs the bottom of the frame, rather than hangs low like some others! my biggest thing is i wanted it to come up 3" higher than normal to accommodate my 3" body lift gap soon.

cant afford it ATM, just looking into it.

When you make your own you can make the frame mounts any way you want. My bumper would look funny on a body lifted truck because the bottom of the bumper is even with the frame rail. I'm not a fan of body lifts so I won't have that problem, also makes for better approach angles.

Built by Pottsy...he is on Ebay, or Google him. He has some nice bumpers he builds.
