Its possible to have a 3" body lift and a 4-6" Suspention lift right? with 33-36" tires? Umm any ideas on ways to get great handling with these add-ons. Also where can i get cheap Suspention lifts? There $1700 bucks every where! Ican buy a body lift rght now i just need tires! please reply! Also ideas for brakes? Adding weight to this truck might effect my braking power. So please help me! Thanks :icon_hornsup:

There is no cheap alternative for a 4" kit for your newer gen ranger.

But yes it is very possible to run the 4" superlift with a 3" body lift and clear a 35-36" tire.

You will need to regear it for sure when done.

yes you can run a Body lift and a suspension lift. Unfortunatly though the newer rangers don't have cheap suspensions.

The body lifts are already 200 buck (got one for my 84 for 50 bucks), and there is only one suspension lift for our trucks well thats that cheap... I am saving up for a Dixon Bothers Long arm suspension kit which is like 4,000 bucks... but totally looks worth it.

And with that big of tires you are going to have to re gear, which in itself will probably add about 500 - 1000 bucks for the proper gears and install kits.

Thats why I haven't touched my trucks really yet... too expensive to not be able to use it yet...

they have spindles for 3-3.5" and with a 3" body lift you can clear 33"s fo so, cause in my 2wd i can clear 32s with spindles only with almost no rub so have at her man

Yeah but the spindle lift is only for coil suspension 2wd's. 4x4 vehicles use the torsen bar and the spindle lift doesn't work...

You can get a spindle lift for torsion bar 2wd Edges/Sports, but again, the spindle lift only applies to 2wd's.
Mostly I answered your question in the other thread.
In a nutshell, the late-model SLA front end is not happy with tires larger than 33". 35's maybe, but I'd suggest learning how to replace halfshafts and tie rod ends off-road while lying on your back in the mud.
Since your truck is a 3.0 is it likely that it has a 7.5" rear axle and again, I wouldn't suggest going larger than 33's with that. Even so, consider upgrading the rear to an 8.8" from another Ranger.
A Superlift, quality 33" mud-terrains, 4.56 gears, and Powertrax lockers front and rear, drive it smart, and you will crush most people you're wheeling with.

Always be watching craigslist, ebay, different forums, etc. You might get lucky and find one cheap like i did. got a whole exploder front end + superlift 4" for $460
