will the 4.0l explorer rad and duel pusher fans with out the mechanical fan be enough to cool the 302

im not sure on this, but i imagine itll be fine. im going to run a single 16" pusher with no mechanical fan. im sure itll be fine

i know its better to run a puller, but yea i have NO room, i havent looked at recessing the rad yet, i may try it

give it a try... depending on your motor and how you drive, it might cool enough.

the motor will be stayin stock do they make shorter mechanical fans i just hope the duel pushers can cool it

FMS offers a shorter timing cover/water pump setup... i think they came on explorers. and use the shortest spacer you can (of course).

im useing the 4.0 rad on my swap im haveing to cut and redo a lot of the front rad support and deffinitly have to get the shorter timing cover water pump and rest of the brackets to gain more clearance for the elevtric fan im useing, as for cooling i think it will be plenty

i hope the electric fans will work and i dont have to get a different water pump cause i just had a new one put on
