Will this alternator work?

Hi,

2003 Ranger 4.0. I was looking to upgrade the alternator and I read some 130amp alternators are a direct swap. I was looking at this one:

It says it fits, I was just looking for a more concrete answer.

There's an explanation in tech article that also mentioned alternators.

I just asked for a ford explorer 4.0 130 amp at the parts store and plunked it in my 3.0.

I had read that tech article before I posted and from what I had gathered the explorer alternators only worked on up to an '01 4L but you could put it on any 3L, which may be wrong which is why I was looking for clarification.
