I have a 94 4x4 with stock tires 235/75r15 will I have a issue fittting 31x10 r16 on a stock suspension without issues.

r16??? Might need coil spacers in the front, otherwise should be okay.

31x10.5 r15 tires will fit fine. They did on my '94 I had.

Would 31 inch tires on factory exploder rims fit my truck?
Currently its not lifted.. 2wd
And right now I have 235-75R15

no, u would definatly need some sort of a leveling kit for the front of your truck, they always fit on 4wd, but 2wd is another story

I thought so. So whats the largest size tire that would fit?

Also, I could just make a coil spacer by welding up some washers right?
Whats the highest I would want to go doing that, or should I just buy some spacers?

If I would need to buy spacers, would the tech library article about factory F-150 spacers work with a 3rd gen?

I'm sorry about asking a lot of questions, but as many of you know I cant afford tires.. and I found a cheap(ish) set of 31's.
I might end up going with a smaller tire anyway, depending on how much its going to cost to ready the truck for larger tires.

just wondering. i want to put 31x10.50 on my stock 15inch rim can i do this? and second how much has this killed gas millage for other people?

i have 31x10.50r15 stock 88 ranger aluminum rim(no lift) with 3.73 l/s and my gas mileage actually got better and i can still use 5th and pull away in traffic

u should be able to just do 1 1/2" with the washers to get enough room for them, and to the guy that posted a question about 31's on stock alum wheels, there perfect for stock wheels

Junkie, that doesnt help at all.
In that it says that a 235-75R15 will fit and that its the biggest on a stock 2wd truck. When I first got my truck it had 255-75R15's on it..

It does say at the bottom those figures are "conservative" to avoid any & all rubbing, and that it's often possible to go a size or so bigger.
A 255/75R15 is 30" (unless you meant 255/70R15, in which case it's only 29"). 31 is even bigger still, so you'll probably want to test-fit those before committing (many here have reported 31s do not fit on a 2WD).
