Will it fit?

I was wondering if a 4.0 from a 06 mustang would work in a 04 ranger. The Ranger is rwd auto same as the mustang. I know I'll have to swap the intake from the truck, but I was wanting verification that all the sensors are in the same place so my harness will plug right in. Thanks in advance!
I did look at some pics and the valve covers look like they need swapped too

OK so did some digging around and it looks like it will work. Gotta use my harness, swap the intake to get rid of fly by wire and maybe the valve covers . correct me if I'm wrong please.

I think the valve covers will work, however I always tell people, when changing years or taking an engine from a different model, expect to have to change intake, oil pan, exhaust manifolds, and possibly all sensors.

The oil pan does not need changed.
