Will an s10 cap fit on a ranger nicely?

im having a hard time finding a ranger cap for my 97 but can find several for s10s. i just want to know if it can be done and what years would match up. thanks guys.

it wont match up right. you may want to look for an older ranger cap. they are a little boxier, but i know the one i have on my 97.the cap is off of a 92. it looks decent, but the colors isnt right. this is how it looks.

I use a s-10 cap on my Ranger too...price was right.
Doesn't line up perfect but it works ok.

i just bought mine using the dimensions: 60inx72in.
mine is a 1st gen short bed. made it easy really.

That's just downright disgraceful putting chevy crap on a ford!! You guys should be ashamed. That's like them guys running the chevy leafs. Won't stay true to the breed. I was a GM hotrod man for years. Always wanted a Ranger in 4WD. Now I got one, then I got a Ford escort, and a BII to go pick up. How the hell all that happened I don't know.

Well the caps aren't actually made by Chevy...

As some people already stated, you may just want to find something specific to your pickup, that way it is guaranteed to fit your pickup and you know it will work.
