I would like to hear from owners of Tornado devices. Good or bad results. I'm considering purchase. My Ranger is used primarily around town 30-40mph. I wonder if the Tornado will be of any help at those low speeds. It's got the 2.3L, with auto trans. Thanks

Ummm no, the only thing those help do are lighten your wallet.:)

The swiriling vortex will do absof*&%inglutely nothing for you, sorry.

Other than forementioned the lightening of your wallet.:icon_thumby:

i have heard it helps...if you pay for it with pennies you have been carrying around in your truck :) 30-40 mpg is damn good, be happy with what ya got.

The problem is everyone puts them in the intake but they forget to put them in the exhaust. Thats where all the power is hidden.:icon_thumby:

And don't forget the magnets to polarize the carbon atoms in the fuel :woot:

Seriously, you can accomplish the same result by just rolling down your window and pitching $$$ out.

Your wallet will be lightened the same amount, your truck will get the same performance improvement, and you'll accomplish it without having to get dirty or wait for the Tornado to be shipped! :headbang:

i think it might even make things worse. an obstruction in the intake tube would slow things down before it gets spooled up imo.

Just the old fashion "Snake Oil" thing!

he said 30-40 MPH! we need literacy tests or a breathilizer when people sign in!

you will get a better out come by picking up a hooker, her swirling motions do alot more good!

if you want milage increases then how about you give your truck a tune-up, check the air pressure in the tires, drive gently and put a higher octane fuel in (if you feel like it) and drop in a k&n air filter, changing to synthetic fluids would be a minor help, in my opinion they arent worth it though...

I used to manage an AutoZone before I got smart and left retail permanently for the glamorous 9-5 of office life (and a 40% raise). We stocked them.

I did my best to keep people away from them.

Any more questions?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! (on a tornado)

dang... i get about 17 and i dont complain at all....

not that you were complaining... i was just saying... thats pretty good gas mileage to get..
