Will a Mazda Driveshaft fit on a Ranger?

I have a 1995 4x4 Extended Cab Ranger with a 6" Suspension lift. I am going to be swapping out my two-piece driveshaft with a solid one-piece driveshaft. I just got off the phone with my local wrecker and they only have a one-piece driveshaft from a 1999 Mazda 4x4 extended cab. Will this driveshaft work on my truck? I know Fords and Mazdas are basically the same truck... but I just want to know for sure before I take the time off work and go get it from the wrecker.

Thanks!

Yes, it will be the same.

Great, thanks !!

One more question... are all rear driveshaft u-joints the same from 95' to 99' ?? Like should I buy new u-joints for my 1995 Ranger or should I get joints for a 99' Mazda to match the shaft?? Or is there only one size u-joint for the 94' Ranger/Mazda thru to 2005 Ranger/Mazda ?

Drivetrain wise, its the same truck as a ranger. The only difference is some of the sheet metal.

On my 91, the 98 shaft bolted right in without changing anything. Should be the same on your 95

'98up S/C shafts use 1330 u-joints (your '95 has 1310s). The flanges on the driveshaft will bolt up to your axle & t-case however.
