I have a '94 Ranger with the 4.0l. The motor went to crap. I found a low mileage '96 4.0l. I can buy the whole truck cheaper then i can buy just the motor for. The body on the truck is junk(roll over). Will this motor work in my '94? The guy is sending it to the scraper friday. Thanks for the help!

If you use all the sensors, injectors, etc. from your engine, it should work just fine. The '96 is OBDll, so it will have different sensors, and the injectors might be different. You might find it easier to put your intake on the newer engine to make sure the engine will run right with the '94 computer.

Sweet! Thanks for the help!!
