Sweeeeet. I got repair money for my birthday, and a hug. lol

I suggest you ask santa for a RJF Masterkey for christmas ;D

$800 aint bad though, they can get A LOT pricier. just tell her it was "on sale". in woman lingo(and according to my wife), that means "a forced buy"

Also include that it was XX% off. That always helps.

That is a good price..is it new or used for that price? I just spent almost 2K on my second PDW416 POF assault rifle. They are so wicked. Very light weight when fully loaded and my wife loves to shoot them. I trained her to shoot my 50 cal Barrett sniper rifle....she loves to empty all 5 rounds into a 200 yard target. I just need to teach her to keep the rounds in the center instead of all over the target...lol

I officially hate you now. :thefinger:

Good buy. Now start stock piling some ammo for the zombies.

$800 was out the door...Tax,TBI background check and 80 rounds of ammo.
Price on it alone was $700 and it has never been fired.Sells for around a grand.
Cant wait to run through some 30 round clips this weekend, then bring on the Zombies!!!

Looking good Lear!

I'd use some 5w-20 oil on that ammo...

talk about keep those riflings looking new & gaining another 500fps........

and n0-0-0-0....I don't want to get into an oil wt. debate......

conventional or synthetic?

I've gotten into pellet gun shooting this year. I set up a range in my backyard and we shoot Crosman pump pistols. They have a rifled steel barrel and are as accurate at 25yds as the M9 Beretta I had in the Marines. We've work all summer on target shooting and drawing and shooting. My 11-YO is deadly at 10 yds on a quick draw. I also bought a Crosman Optimus with a break-barrel single pump. It's bigger than I thought it would be--too big for kids. It's powerful, though. I've always shot my pistol a lot, but I'm getting back the rifle skills I haven't used since the marines. Good body position with a natural point of aim; sight alignment and sight picture; making your eye big and focusing on the front sight tip; controlled breathing; smooth, even trigger pull; letting it surprise you when it fires. All of this can be honed with an $80 pellet rifle which is almost free to shoot. The Crosman pump pistol is the same. It's $40 and the ammo is almost free and it is accurate and has a great feel. It can make all the same shots a gunpowder pistol can make. If you are serious about being a proficient marksman, or someone that can win a gunfight--you need a couple hundred rounds a week.

My point is, you have to develop and maintain your skills through lots of rounds. I'm not impressed by cool-looking weapons. CO2 bb guns are used by teams training for hostage rescue and such. We used paintball guns at Quantico for room-clearing training. That's a good weapon you have, but train, too.
