When i have my key in the run position, i hear a noise behind the air bag. It sounds like something is vibrating. But its not constant. It goes for about 3 seconds, stops for 1, and then starts again. Its nothing with the radio because i put a new one in.

When i was switching out radios it sounded more behind the passenger air bag.

the blower motor is located on the firewall directly behind the air bag. the heater controls/blend door is also located behind and below the air bag (although i cant imagine it making a vibrating noise - ive heard them make a fluttering noise before).

When i crank it up tomorrow before school, ill try and get an exact location. If i cant figure it out then, ill take out my radio this weekend that way i can get a better look.

The noise is coming from behind the glove box. I guess it could be a fan rubbing or something.

really yhe blower motor and heater controls are the only moving parts in that area...i would suspect one of those with the blower motor being the likely culprit.

id pull the blower out and see if there is any debris in the cowel or ducting. mice like to build tests in those areas if they find a way in.
