I got the checks to fix my truck yesterday and deposited them in my account to find out that they hole insurance checks for 5 business days and with it being thanksgiving i'll get my money next thursday thats crap but i guess thats the way I always get screwed

I hate insurance companies. They don't want to pay for anything and when they finally do cough up some green, it's never the right amount. I had a disgusting thought a couple years ago, I had been paying full coverage on my Ranger and I had finally hit the point (right about when the truck was finally paid off) where the cost of insurance equalled the cost of the truck. And I bought it new....

The one bad wreck it was involved in, insurance shorted me around a grand...

And yet, somehow only oil companies are evil record profit makers..... :headscratch:

Thanks I like my truck too. I have a 3" PA BL and I swap the rear springs for the explorer leaf pack and then did a t-bar crank. I have 33x10.50x15 that has steelies on them thats about to be change to a set of DC-1's

good luck on finding a new insurance company! ive had mercury for a while and they have always taken care of me. when my f150 was in the shop i got 40 a day for another f150 rental.

my g/f got hit a couple weeks ago and her ins. company (AAA) is taking care of everything and then going after the guy's insurance so she doesnt have to deal with them.

and ohhh man i woulda thrown her drunk ass in the back of your camper shell and locked her in there so she couldnt walk off. dumb bitch!!!

No they never found her and I havent heard anything from the cop even though I have called him and left multiple messages. My insurance paid me 2500 dollars for the wreck so I got more than what was told to me again so I'm not to mad about it now. They actually came back and said we decided to give you more. Not sure why.

That Sucks

I feel your pain. I was at a green light, and stopped behind a S-10 waiting for an ambulance to go throught the intersection when I was rearended by a Blazer going about 40mph at least (highschool kid on the way to school).

My Ranger had the camper shell pushed into the rear window breaking it out, denting the tailgate, and breaking left turn light.

I replaced all but the tailgate myself after the adjuster totalled it, and I bought it back from him. The frame is bent under the rear bumper, but not enough to prvernt driving it away from the garage that checked it out.

It will have a salvage title, but still drives great and looks just like it does in the avatar. The funniest part is that the blazer that hit me was totalled-the front of it was pushed bak into the block, and no radiator was left.
