They are coming to look at the damage sometime in the next four days and fix it or total it dont know yet and we have all the girls info the cop said that she should be found shortly if not my insurance will still pay

Hey rangerman just remember you have the right to buy your truck back from the insurance company if they total it and its about 10% of whatever they pay and if you dont want to let me know ill buy it I live just below greenville and sorry to hear it but at least be thankful no one was killed or left injured so bad that they are paralized for life

yeah if they total it I am going to by it back it is the first truck I ever owned(no the only but the first) and going to chop the rear off and make me a truggy probably and yeah we were talking about it at the shop today and i am kinda glad she hit me and not a lady with a small child or just someone that might not heal as easy as I can I'm 28 so I can still take a beating

Lucky. I'm 23 and that accident would probably have put me in a brace. My neck is FUBAR. I get it set back in place, do the exercises the chiro gives me, and 6 months later its back to moving all over and popping every time I look to merge left.

Hahaha, totally sig'd that.

ROFLMAO^^^^
I talked to the insurance company today and I found out that I have really good insurance I got a 500$ check for not going to the doctor and I get rental car payout since I didn't need one and that the guy will be there probably monday to get the estimate together so I know what they are going to do bout the damage still waiting on pics though going to get some tomorrow if I can i got the truck to the shop today

They should be able to fix it. I've seen older trucks get much more extensive repairs than what it sounds like yours needs. The only really bad part would be (and I've seen it happen) they take the time to replace your frame with a yard piece and that one is tweaked too.

Yeah to me the truck is not totalled but I'll just have to see and I work at a dealership with a body shop so there will be no replacing the frame we have a nice frame machine and I wont let them replace the frame cause its not that bad

The last dealer I worked at had a very nice frame machine too. Our B/S manager just preferred to replace frames rather than try to straighten them. I guess he felt it was the safer bet even though he always got them out of yards.

I think the only frame I ever saw them pull was when the Owner's kid got his 2000 mile F-150 Roush, stage 3 DEMO 4 wheels off the ground and not only tweaked the frame but also bowed the 10.5 in rear axle down!!!.

now thats alot of speed and force to warp a 10.5 cause thats a pretty stout axle

Shouldn't the insurance company be able to go after the registered owner on the vin?
