I dunno man. I have bought/sold several vehicles in person to person transactions here in PA. The title has always gone with the car. You kinda need it for registration and insurance under PA law, but we are a commonwealth, so we do have some screwy laws.

yes ...... the title goes with the car. the buyer transfers the title. the buyer does not always transfer the title and just drives around in an unregistered car (as is apparent in this case) ........ why should the registered owner (seller) of the car be penalized because the buyer (new current owner) broke the law.

the car was registered to the girl that hit me it was just not tagged correctly she had gotten a temp tag and it had expired and she just kept changing the date like it was just purchased. they still havent caught her yet even though they know her full name and address

Ok so allstate showed up today and told me that they are not going to total my truck but the catch is that the body shop est is 2300 allstate said it will cost 2000 to fix and they are sending me a check for less than 1800 so now I dont know what will happen about getting it all fixed

The frame is going to be straightened today I hope since we have a body shop with a frame machine on site and I am going to fix the bed for now cause I don't have any money

Not that I have heard but then again the cop was supposed to call me and show me a picture of her so I could ID her but havent seen him yet so I would say no but i'm about to start pressing the subject with them

With the economy being the way it is, there are more uninsured and underinsured drivers on the road. I just had my 09 Ranger totaled by someone with no insurance. State Farm called me and they gave me a very fair market value plus reimbursed me for the taxes paid too.
Vehicles can be repaired or replaced but as long as there was no bodily injuries, that's a good thing.

So we decided to just use the floor chains and this is the setting up and pulling of the frame which is back in place and other than the dents you really cant tell the frame was bent now I just got alot of body work to do

So allstate called today finally and told me that I get a check for 1700 for the damages and since I didnt get a rental I get 20 a day for that but they only let me have it for 7 days which was from last wednesday till this past wednesday when the adjuster showed up how is this fair what am I supposed to do wave a wand and get my truck fixed for 500 dollars less than the discounted body shop estimate that I got because I work there these people are nuts and who can rent a car for 20 a day? Needless to say if you cant tell i'm not happy with this but not alot that I can do about it

yeah concidering that the estimate that the body shop manager gave him was 500 higher that what he gave me he gave them a 2800 est and me the real price of 2300 to fix it and the adjuster said that it would only cost 2000 to fix it yeah i'm looking for a new insurance company in another tab right now
