why not to tailgate

i never drive with both hands on the wheel, if you're implying that it somehow makes you safer to do so, it just feels wrong and i don't have as much control over the vehicle that way.

i'd like to know how holding a cell phone in your hand while you continue to pay attention to the road is any different than shifting in a manual, it's not like she was weaving all over the place.

nattural reaction when you are holding onto something that moves (like a cellphone, or video camera (as seen in the video post 1) is to hold onto it tighter, and NOT to grab the wheel with the "free hand" if you are shifting, the shifter doesn't go anywhere, so you are more inclined to let go of it and grab the steering wheel... in a frantic scramble, like that situation would have created, even you sir, would have grabbed the steering wheel with your other hand, and yes, in that circumstance, 2 hands are better than 1...

I am starting to think it was staged, or "special effects". There is clearly sound yet the driver didn't say a thing. Even the toughest, coolest person on Earth would drop an f-bomb or something. Nor did the driver even drop the camera. Something isn't right there.

agreed, chuck norris would have shit his pants

all that site says is "this video is real" no proof, a statement of "this video is real" is opinion, nothing more...

the only "proof" that site offers, is the picture of a 2x4 in the windshield of a similar car, which doesn't prove the video is real, only that the video matches a picture...

so people dont t-gate i put a little sign in my reese hitch that says "YOU ARE AN OFFICIAL TAILGATER...BACK OFF!" it works most the time unless there is some preppy little city boy that dosnt like my rebel flags flyin'.... so then there is plan B........... the finger!!!

they were going to sue you, because he hit you?
So they said...

I spotted the kid cruising the college parking lot looking for me a couple days after it happened and reported that too. He couldn't find me though, he was looking for a lil blue Ranger and not the big F-350 dump I was sitting in, lol. Hated to feel like I was whining about his actions, but figured it was better than being forced to open a can of whoop@$$ on a minor.

reminds me of a saying i used to say all the time in situations like that... "that sounds like a you problem... i'm only authorized to deal with me problems right now"

'you" being the kid who just got himself beat

That prick with the trailer still shouldn't have been in the left lane.
