i just put in a lockright and 5.13 gears in a dana 35 4 month ago and i think the springs in the locker are already starting to wearout and it clunks like crazy now. i got them installed at a shop with the gears too. i did do a bit of rock crawling and it used to crack and rachet a bit then but now it doesnt want to stay locked and it gives out with a clunk all the time mostly on the driver side for some reason. i guess ill have to only lock 1 hub this winter and be a 3 wheeler for a bit. is it true u can get tougher springs in the lockright locker cause if not im gonna weld that crap ass waste of money.

it is probaly your hubs a locker will put a lot more stress on the font axle including the hubs.

The clearance will get bigger over time. Did you check that when it was installed?

ding ding, I bet the shop just slaped it in there, and did not check the clearance.....got a warranty? take it back to the shop, or pull the pig and check it.before your wear it out/ruin it.

it sounds like it may be a hub or axleshaft to me, unless you busted the teeth off the lockright.
