with the increasing cost of gas, i was wondering who on here was getting their bikes ready for the riding season? i personally don't have one but have my license and ride my stepbrother's occasionally :icon_thumby:

no license yet but have a bike but it needs work

I need to get a new rear rim, after that I think it would be ready to go. Not really too wound up about getting it out though, summer is hot and 21spds suffer from insuffeciant cooling for the engine (me)

i know the feeling the gf wants me to start riding the pike trails with her.:shok:

I gassed up two vehicals yesterday....$3.34 a gallon for 87 octane. We are traveling this summer but not with the Ranger, need more room.....lots of places to visit, camping, swimming and boating and just enjoying our lives....the cats get to come along with us to certain places. I always bring along my pet fish 'Fish Guy'. He always gets to go places with us. Who cares about gas prices?....my Rouge gets over 550 miles to a tank of 87 octane. Gas might go up to $4 a gallon in the near future...we can't help that unless everybody in America boycotts buying gas for two weeks....the getting richer idiot oil mongers will feel it there pockets and I know the price will come down to where it is supposed to be back to...under
$2.00 a gallon.

Who said anything about getting for the summer to ride. I ride all year long. From when temps are below freezing to 100*F + in the summer. My Kawi KLX250 is all set for some action and commutting.

'Icicle Man'!!! My newest Super Hero!!! lol

Looking forward getting some projects moving along and as many camping and fishing trips as possible. Just bought a new Grizzly 700 I'll be putting some more miles on too.

just went through my mountain bike yesterday, i had my little pit bike good to go until i stripped out one of the drain bolts on the bottom of the fork leg when i changed to oil out. damnit, one more to-do added to my list!

Got the charger working on the Stang battery right now. Forgot and left the radio turned on and that seems to drain the battery. Gas prices do suck and will keep going up. It gets about the same mileage as the Rangers but is a lot more fun to drive, does take 93 octane. Don't have the 400 miles a week having to go to work so that makes up for it.

I am!!

Pulled my rear tire off yesterday and unstuck the drum brakes, charged the battery up, and oiled the chain. Fired 'er up and rode around the block a couple times. I was planning on selling it to put money into my truck but I just cant bring myself to do it.

Where are you blessed to have cheap gas? I filled up for 3.80 a gallon today.

I Gassed up at Marathon Gas...I live in Lithia, Fl and I have a piece of property near Ocala, Fl

My wife called me at lunch time and said there was a gas station that just raised the gas to $3.60 a gallon as she was driving buy it..Mobil Gas.
