Who's had their headliner out?

Well guys, I was thinking of doing something really creative, but need to know what the roof of my cab looks like under the headliner.

Anyone have any pictures or knowledge of what It looks like under there?

I have a 2002 4 banger

it pretty much looks like any other vehicle with there headliner out. like crap. plus i think you might have to take your seats out. just imagion your outter roof skin on the inside with a few braces

Mine Is Black with a bit of gray... but it depends on your truck... Yours will be something along the lines of red..

Mine never had one, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Dunno how it compares to one with that originally had a headliner let alone one as new as yours. Mine is dual walled, it doesn't make much sense (to me) to make two completely different cabs so the cheaper truck can have a solid steel roof. I think that would cost more than a hunk of foam with fabric glued on it for the fancy trucks. Ford doesn't always share my logic though...

Well the headliner would be going back in, just wondering where the braces are underneath it. Especially along the back above the rear window.

i think theres one across the front windsheild, one in the middle left to right, and one across the rear window that sticks forward like 4-6 inchs

maybe ill call up a junk yard around here and see if they have one with the liner pulled out and ill just go look. I could pull mine out but... ide rather not for me.

mine never had one either. just covered it with sound deadened mat then sticky back carpet squares. looks ok, keeps the noise down lots, and warmer in the winter.
