Ive got some spacers to put on next week and it says you gotta take all kinds of stuff apart to get them on. I was wondering if you really needed to or if that was just to make it the easiest way possible?

Yes u do need to take all the stuff apart.
they are a pain, but deff worth the work.
u need to remove the sway bar. disconect the ball joints so both arms open up free, and use a coil compressor for the coils. If u dont compress em it will be a real pain and dangerous to do.
u have longer shocks already?
because if u dont they will hit the uptravel limit on every bump and thats really annoying.

Nope, no new shocks for me. I just put the ones in there now in about a year ago. Ill just run these ones til next summer probably. I can deal with annoying...

u could try to extend the studs 2" so they compensate the new height. thats what i did on mine.
get a bolt thats the same diameter and thread as the shock stud, cut it up to 2.5 inches, make a "sleeve" out of a piece of pipe so u can join the stud with your extender and weld it up.

sleeving it would give u a stronger stud tho

Sorry for the thread jack but I was wondering if RSH had a pic of what he is talking about? I don't think I saw him post any pictures of his shock extension in his build thread.
