who says you cant change every 40,000 miles

I've gota say....that really speaks volumes for the durability of those Beemer motors though. That's a lot of abuse! I happen to be a fan of BMW's and if I ever buy a car it will be one. Some years aren't very desirable, but they are great cars. The owner of that car should be stripped of it and given a hunk of shit that he can abuse. What a douche!

I love a nice Bimmer. I want an E30 318is or a 2002. Woo!
But this is just sad.

E30's are sweet! I'd go with the 325i though. You can pull some serious HP from those little bastards. The new 2010 M5's stock v-10 makes 500hp. If I was loaded that would be my first choice.

I don't know... I guess if I was loaded, yeah. But the 318is is more my price range, really. Plus, I wouldn't be racing it or anything, just cruisin' around. But I agree, 325i is a quick car!

If I had a Beemer, I'd like a late 90's M3 sedan. In yellow. With a stick.

^Word^ M3's are sweet!

As to the price difference between a 318i and 325i, there really isn't much of a difference. I've seen late 90's early 2000's 318's and 325's go for about the same price. They are actually very affordable for the amount of car you get. Around 6-7k will get you a low millage well taken care of later model E30.
