I need to replace the front spring hanger (rear axle) on my F250.

Since i use this mainly for hauling and towing heavy shit can anyone tell me who makes a quality replacement? Without spending OEM money (if they are even available)

I don't think i've ever bought anything but dorman for replacement hanger and bushings and such.

Never really had an issue with them. They always came with a full set of grade 8 hardware.

I kinda figured dorman would be fine but with the way shit is anymore figured id ask.

When i bought a shock mount for my 77 i got it from bronco graveyard, but the only hangers they have for my 97 are under 8500 GVW...i think i need to see if mine has 4 or 6 rivets...ive been seeing both listed for it

Most of my stuff has been Dorman or ATS, also a bit of OEM stuff, but they all appear to be the same thing. If you want something heavier, you might have to build it

OEM, Dorman and ATS are all pretty much identical. I think my F-150 has ATS but they might be OEM for the front hangers and at least one of the rears is Dorman. The only problem I had was the front hanger bolts for some reason started unscrewing themselves. I got a longer bolt and it got a regular nut and a Nylock nut with blue locktite. That resolved that strange problem.

Where can i buy the eyelet bolt? Ive had no problem with bushings or the actual hanger but the bolt is elusive

I believe I used a 5/8” grade 8…
I just found a good used one on ebay....

20 bucks for a used bolt.

Im not doing this myself...so i just wanted to get all the right shit togther so it goes smoothly

I’ve always just bought grade 8 bolts at the hardware store. They’re not anything special, just regular bolts.
