I have 235/65-16 (28" tall) tires for spring/summer/fall and 225/70-15 (27.5" tall) for winter. How low can I go without rubbing?

Thanks.

To add, I'm thinking of going with a 4/5 but I'm concerned my tires won't fit.

28" tall won't fit with a 4/5 the Ideal size with a 4/5 is 25". With a 28" tall tire you might be able to go 2/2 maybe with slight rubbing.

Alot of clearing and you can run 31" tires with a 7" drop. I've seen it done before. Just need the right rims.

I have factory Ranger 16's off an '01.

I'd like to avoid cutting/fabricating.

I ran 28's on my '89 Ranger 2WD with a 3/4 drop....but I had to flatten the fender- lip on all 4 fenders to keep from damaging the outside wall on the tires...later I swapped bodies to the '36 body

i have a 3/4 drop with 225/35-20 only problem is i cant crank the steering wheel all the way tires hit radias arm but thats it

I ordered my 2" Roush drop coils. Guess I'll find out how close things really are!
