Wauseon, OH, on 108 due north of the Fulton County Fairgrounds.

Wells we're closing are OLD. That one was out of the late 50's or early 60's. Landowner hit it with a tractor and snapped off the wellhead. From what I understood, he had no idea it was there. Thankfully, We're not scheduled to close the next one down the road that was tapped into that radiation pocket. Yet. There's a chance we will be.

Not sure of new activity in the area, but lots of shallow gas out there.

the Pizza Hut in Wauseon is (was) one of our regular spots.
The county offices directly across from the fairgrounds was one of my customers.
so yeah, I've been exposed too.
the newer well activity was just to the north of there, 15-30 miles.
oil & gas has been taken from the general area, 75 miles, since the late 1800's.
yes, you were quite close to Rusty.
