I declare my freedom! I'm coming out of the closet. I believe in railroads and birds and an almost spherical earth and Armstrong landed on the moon and Santa Claus and....

Nope. Had my Mercedes out that day. Big white one, front and center.

Besides. My 2.9 is now a fresh engine. And I'm assuming the massive assed turbo will eat most of the oil.

So. I saw the scariest crap I've seen buried in the earth in my career there.

You have a formation around 500 ft down that is just scary. It pegged my gamma radiation tool at the equivalent of 0.2R

What's truly terrifying is that there's shallow wells tapped into it for brine and natural gas. Meaning that yes, at some point, people were pumping that into their homes. ☠️

interesting. do you recall exactly where that field is?
a while back there was a big concern with radon, that quietly went away after a few years.
I use to service all the schools in that area, spent a lot of time on the rural roads.
about 8-10 tears ago thumper trucks were all over that area, cables were strung across fields in grid patterns.
they even had a thumper truck in Adrian on the road between a hospital and high school.
then a bunch of wells went in, a few were shut down after a couple years.

by the way, if you were where I think you were Rusty was watching.
