I had a piece of 1/4" plate broke into a u shape and got a piece of 1/4" x 6" flat to fill the opening. I am going to fit and weld it and make an air tank.
What are you thinking???
I am going to cope the ends in the shape of the stock bumper and mount it like stock. the stock bumper is 6"x6" if it was a tube.

sounds good for a bumper, but airtank? what happens if you get rear-ended? BOOM!
