I can't decide on which wheels to put on my truck, I really like them all, but the are all so different. I'm leaning on the Mickeys and Procomps...:dunno:

You like to wheel your truck don't ya?

I'd get some beadlocks for it...

Unless you're gonna have some dedicated mall crawler rims for the street then I'd go for the m/t's.

I won't lie, I want a set of rockstar mall crawler street tire wheels for kicks and giggles as a street tread... I love tsl's but I hate wearing them down street driving.

Oh I'm gunna wheel the sh** out of my truck, but my build will be driveable in a week or two. and it will be my DD w/ 70mi round trip to work daily. So bead-locks are out of the question. At least untill I can afford a set of dedicated Boggers or Iroks. This thing is gunna be a cop magnet as is, so far all they can get me for is over-height(by 11" :icon_thumby:!), but I'd like to keep the rest legal, to a point.

Whatever wheels I get will be mounted in a radial mud terrain(dunno which one), no Swampers as of now. So in the end here, whatever wheels get picked, will be my DD "street" wheels.

I'd love to have me some Rockstars too, but... the smallest they come is 18"(17" dually) and they look stupid small. I can't see putting 20"s, 22"s or 24"s on a Ranger.

Either of the last 2 work for me, but I voted for the Ions as I like the black/chrome lip look. I plan on running beadlocks on my alloy wheels....just gotta kickup the spare cash for the alloy inners, their $$$.

procomps an toyo open country mts or km2s

That's a big negative on the Toyos there good buddy. Worst tires ever, ride terrible, balance like a fat guy and a midget on a trampoline, and they wear like crap.

They KM2 is one of my options, but I'm not worried about the tires just yet, I still gotta price em all with my discount at work. Though I was lookin at getting the new Swamper M-16s, but the price is trough the roof, even at cost.

I would go with the Mickey Thompson's personally. That is what I would put on my truck.

Go the pro-comps, a purpose built rig like that doesn't want the flashy rims. The M-T's just remind me of something I would see prowlin the mall's around here.

There are some rims called Black rocks or something... they aren't too expensive and they look pretty dang decent in my opinion.

And I agree on the toyo thing not the best tire, For straight off roading they are great but we couldn't balance them ever with any rims.

Mounted lots of Toyos. No trouble. But I wouldn't run an MT for a DD. That's just dumb. Why not just send me 200 bucks every six months and I'll spray your good tires with wd-40 when it rains?

Do what? oh the M/T thing in the rain? yeah M/T's get really sketch in rain.

I have mounted toyos that were no trouble too, but that was mostly stock sized ones. or close too... none of the 33's or 35 in 18" + sized rims were ever any fun.

If you are getting black rims, might as well get the cheapest, strongest ones you can find. They will all look the same from a distance anyway.

If I got black rims, they would be steel D-slots.

What kind of a kick in the snatch that would be for my truck!?

Pull Alcoa wheels off of her and slap on steelies...

That's like taking a Milkbone from a rottweiler and giving it a turd to chew on!
