I don't agree with that at all....for truck that will get beat like a redheaded stepchild I would run nothing other than a steel wheel.

Aluminum gets effed up too easily when your start getting into the hairy stuff. Steel you can bend back....

Yeah, but... as I said before...
...
Whatever wheels I get will be mounted in a radial mud terrain(dunno which one), no Swampers as of now. So in the end here, whatever wheels get picked, will be my DD "street" wheels.

...
I work at a truck accessory shop, and get a fat discount, It won't be long before I have a set of dedicated "play" wheels and tires. Not to say these won't go off-road, but they won't be aired down and run against rocks either.

Well then I would say...first choice would be the ION's...second would be the ProComp's...i don't like the MT's at all tho...

What kind of a kick in the snatch that would be for my truck!?

Pull Alcoa wheels off of her and slap on steelies...

That's like taking a Milkbone from a rottweiler and giving it a turd to chew on!

Meh, I prefer the looks of your Alcoa's compared to anything in black anyway...

By the looks of things on Alcoa's site it doesn't seem that they produce a light truck wheel of my bolt pattern or size. But one of 2 of their retailers in my state happen to be one of my works biggest suppliers, I'll find out for sure if they make em tomorrow.

So If you get a fat discount on some wheels, How bout hookin a fellow TRS member up, I'm not too far from you:icon_thumby:

Lol, nope.

Discount goes as far as family, and that's it. And yes they know what my family drives. Good try though.

BTW, I saw a set of the Ion 171 wheels in person. I put em on a Heep saturday, no way!
They are low quality and just look tacky.

I like the M/T's. I'm checkin out the Dick Cepak's for my truck, the DC-1's or 2's
