which u-joint does my ranger need 3.5 or 2.75 yolk joint?

hey,

I'm picking up 2 new u-joints for my 89 ranger 5 sp 4x4 reg cab 2.9v6. I guess there are two different size u-joints...3.5inch yolk or 2.75inch yolk. Hoping someone can tell me which size to get.

You mean the flange size? They should be the smaller one on both ends. As long as you have a 7.5 rear end which you should unless someone swapped it.
