hey guys, looking at build a set of radius arms for my 79 bronco. ill probably only have them about 6-8" over stock, and they will be out of tubing. im wondering what size would be the best? the truck will be a DD along with some wheeling so i went them to be able to take a beating. just wondering what the diameter and thickness should be? i made some out of cardboard rolls. ill try to get some pics up in a couple mins, computer dont wanna read the memory card

thanks

check out stone crusher HERE

they have an extension that you thread on, then weld. little more than 10" over stock. price ain't bad either, when you think about time and materials to build a whole new set.

i think the second one is better, not so much of an angle. there would be some plate welded in between the 2 peices too

Cardboard rolls,? Don't get them wet!:icon_rofl:
Seriously, though, I'd like to know this also. I'm thinking 1/4" thick by whatever is handy when I'm at my local welding shop dumpster.

Edit-Just saw your pic, I would run both tubes to almost the end where it mounts to the frame mount.
