which muffler?

getting geared up to get exhaust installed on my v8 ranger with hedman shorty headers..i have 2 mufflers, 1 is a glasspack and the other is a flowmaster that has 1 in and 2 out..im wanting duels out the back and im looking for a deep rumble sound but not really loud..just a good low tone to compliment the v8..what would you guys use..

either way, the flow will give you a much nicer sound... with the 5L HO, flow 40's are LOUD, but the 50's are nice, they have a groan, but not deaffening... me, i run just the midpipe on my stang...

I am running 2 Flowmaster 50 series http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowmaster/389/942451/10002/-1?parentProductId=1030938 with the tail pipes dumping behind the bumper.

I personaly would go with the flowmaster they sound good. I put a super 40 on mine its a bit loud but not bad.

here is a few pics of the flowmaster i was thinking about using...as you can see i would run my headers into the y pipe and the 2 pipes out the back so i guess this wouldnt be true duels.. i am ok with that as long as it dont hurt power or sound sh$tty...what do you guys think..

its a flowmaster 430402 40 series and i youtubed it and from what ive heard they do sound great...didnt find any v8 rangers but i did see a few 80,s model 5.0 mustangs

Im running two super 44 flowmasters. First video is with turndowns the second is with it run out the back. I personally think it sounds much better coming out the back.
