I've got a 1984 B2 that I am doing a full rebuild to. I have decided to drop a 331 stroker in along with 9" and D44 axles. Originally I wanted to put a t5 behind the motor but after doing some researching I have learned that the adaptor kit to attach the t5 to the tcase is no longer available. So my question is simple and I hope the answer is too. What manual tranny should I use that can handle the power of the 331, can bolt up to a tcase so that I can keep the 4 wheel drive, and has enough gear to do a bit of street driving? Or, should I go with the t5 and change the tcase and what all would be involved in that swap? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
