where's my starter?

found out last night that my 95 2.3L doesn't start yet the battery is perfect and the starter solenoid works fine... so me and my buddy bomb started it and i parked it outside of our shop door until i can replace the starter... question is where is the starters on these motors?

Driver's side, near the bottom. Should look like a big cylinder under a little cylinder.

If you really can't figure it out, follow the battery cable.

lol pretty straight forward... just hook a tow rope up from one vehicle to yours... and then hold the clutch in and put it in 2nd gear... then get somebody to tow you for like 50 yards and when your vehicle is going fast enough let the clutch out... your vehicle should then start.

well for future reference the starter is located passenger side and bolts up to the side of the trans... changed it out and starts like new all over again... even had the time to fab up a custom AFE intake for the baby hahah

Driver side or passenger depends on your year, just crawl under there and look for something with wires bolted to the tranny.
