Where would PCV valve be?

I have a 1988 Ford Ranger pickup, 4cyl-2.0 litre engine, 5 speed. Have been looking for my PCV valve. Had other people look around and they don't seem to know or see it. I have been looking around, some say it doesn't have one, and if they is one, there are 2 vacuum lines attached to it. Had a parts dealer mention that engine was for a tractor??

Thanks

LOL...tractor motor...maybe...I haven't seen everything yet...

The PCV is just behind the distributor and you need to remove the breather, usually, to get at it...if your truck doesn't have power steering you should be able to reach up under the alternator to hold the bottom hose and pull the PCV out of the tube to check it...

It runs into the base of the carb so you can also trace it from there...but your engine should have one...as well as an oil cap vent that goes into the breather somewhere on the side or bottom...and some people mistake that for the PCV...I did at first when I had the 2.0 but found the canister and hoses after pulling the breather...
