where to get notchers?

so i got my mig, and tomorrow im picking up a bender, now all i need is a notcher and im in buisness. anybody got any suggestions where to buy?

A buddy of mine bought the harbor freight notcher, it runs about $40 stateside. It is a slightly lighter duty version of my pro-tools notcher. He says it works great. I believe there is a similar store of a different name in your area.

yea i checked harbor freight but they dont sell to canada. and i think you mean princess auto, i searched on their site and couldnt find any

Just use a chopsaw.

take a 45 deg cut off each side of center,it'll fit right up.i do the same thing with the bandsaw.most notchers are a pain for off angle cuts.

As I have recently discovered, notching is a science all of its own. And are you getting a proper tube bender.......or a pipe kinker?
