I am trying to patch up my battery cables and am looking for some of that heat shrink with glue in it but have no idea where to pick it up.

Any Ideas?

Marine supply. Battery cables should be crimped and soldered not glued.

Waytek wire has it. It is called polyolefin dual wall heat shrink.

I somehow doubt he thinks glue will hold the wire together.

The glue is to SEAL the connection and prevent corrosion.

Considering you posted at 11pm I'll suggest not posting after drinking like the sign above my computer sugests not posting before coffee in the morning:)

My local specialty electronics store (small industrial parts and switches and whatnot) carries a good selection... (not Radioshack)...

Old habits are hard to break, huh Allan? Always the smart ass. Yes, I was trying to be helpful, and don't be so sure on the glue issue. People do strange things to automobiles to make them work.

I don't drink, so take your suggestion and..............:annoyed:shady
