where to find non ac box?

doing a 5.0 swap and for now im not caring about the AC so im trying to find a non AC firewall box that holds the evaporator. Is there a place to find one new?

IDK, as I got lucky on mine, but I'd think that would be the kind of thing LMC would carry.

yeah I couldnt find one so i decided to go find an intake from an explorer with the curved throttle body so it avoids the ac box altogether

What year of truck?

I don't think there was a difference between AC and non-AC on the 95+ trucks. Maybe internally but they are both the similar as far as engine bay footprint.

You won't find a new one unless you happen upon a NOS one for a 83-94 somewhere, JY is your only decent bet. I don't know if the herd is getting that thin or if the don't make enough off of them and they go straight to the crusher but non-ac stripper models are getting fewer and farther between at the JY's I go to. I don't think I have bumped into another non-ac truck since I got my non-ac box 3 years ago.

you would think a company sells it new but i havent been able to find it....no worries the problem is taken care of with the explorer intake
