Where to buy bull bar for 1992 Ranger?

I'd like to add a bull bar to my 1992 Ranger. I moved deep into the woods and the roads are littered with deer carcasses, and I'd like to protect my excellent-condition Ranger's front end. I can't seem to find a bull bar designed to fit my Ranger, and I'm new to this and not sure if there are universal-fit bull bars that I could buy and have a local welder fabricate some brackets to install it. I can't find used bull bars for my year Ranger either. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

A lot of those options have disappeared over the years. They can still be found once in awhile on CL or ebay.

They sell a bunch of bull bars these days but most are really for looks and don't offer much in the way of protection.

I bought a set of bumpers from Affordable Off-road. They do some really nice work and they would offer fae more protection then a simple bull bar.

@85_Ranger4x4 has one on his '85. He might be able to help you find one that'll fit your '92.

Oh. Well, there we go. Wanna make another one for the OP?

Currently working on another one for mine lol.

Mounting is different between our trucks, especially for my new one.

I actually have something for a '89-92 at home I don't need but it'd be awkward to ship across the country...

Make a bumper out of 5x5 x 3/16 structural steel tubing and use make sure your cross bar goes above the hood line, while going a little bit further then your front fenders. If you can add a forward rake to it you might get lucky and have whatever you hit slide under you instead of over and onto the windshield.

I tried those deer whistles that you put on the front of your vehicle that supposedly let's them know you are coming and scare them. I think they are probably as effective as magnetic fuel alignment gizmos to increase your MPG. Because when it was not hunting season, I had deer run along side my truck (Aerostar) on my property while keeping pace. They did not seem scared or warned. Then leaving the property once I had a few deer run right in front of me on the interstate highway. My B2 with the 6x2 steel bumper would have survived, the Aerostar not.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow, sorry was gone all weekend.

I know this is 2 years old but any chance you still have this?
I do, I found the picture I took back at that point... would still be awkward to ship to Montana but I could see about a quote through work if you are interested...

Hello, the notification for this went to my junk. I would be interested in a quote for shipping sure. - im basically in idaho, western portion of montana, so might not be all that out of the question for shipping cost! I just had a radiator support shipped here recently the box was big but it cant weight much less than this.
