Hello everyone. I sold my 1992 2wd Extended Cab XLT to my Dad recently. I knew it didn't have a spare tire when I sold it to him but I am not sure about the jacks location. Is it behind a panel in the ext cab or was it under the truck with the spare? The truck is 3 hours away now and I told my Dad I would save him the trouble of searching for it. Thx in advance.

the Jack is usually in the same aisle as the Jim Beam. :p

In my 97 extended cab it is under the passenger side jump seat in the back.

The crank to lower the tire is under the hood on top of the core support.

Yup, that's where it normally is.

Most of the time it has gone missing.....

Really? Odd, on my 99, the rod is in sections and in a pouch like tent stakes along with the jack under the passenger side jump seat... I've seen the rod on F-150s on the radiator support, but last time I was looking under the hood of a early ranger I was looking at the 2.9, not the jack:icon_twisted:

Thats where it is on my 88.

Or I should say, WAS there.

+1. Two bronco IIs, an 88 and 89, both had the crank (it does double duty and raises the jack) on the core support.
The jack is stored behind a plastic panel just behind the passenger door on a b2... But that might not be any help to your purpose.

Jack should be behind a jump seat.

^^She's got the jack.^^

I believe you can find it in the box...

Each deck should have at least 4.
