Looked in the chileans and posted in the 4.0 forum to no avail. I did the valve cover gaskets on my 1991 4.0 a4ld and am hoping someone knows where the top elbow in the picture goes because mines broken. It goes from the air box too? Thanks for any help.

If those are the elbows yout talking about, they are for the air conditioning. hope this helps

I guess the picture is vague. It's the elbow coming off the air box. There is two of them. I'm holding the broken end up to the lens. The top elbow in the pic on the air box is connected to the broken line I'm holding up. The line itself is only maybe 3mm thick. Thanks
 
Its a vacuum hose. Look for the other half on or near the upper intake.
 
Does your truck not have the vacuum hose routing diagram still stuck to the rad support?
 
Lol. Nope. Converted to 2010 front clip...pretty sure it was on the old hood. I was just being a bit lazy I guess...I'll hunt around for the other end.
