Where do you put the spare?

Mine goes under the bed. It helps add some weight in the back too. I drop it once every year or two just to check it. Check the pressure, make sure it drops easily enough and clean it. I've never had to use my spare, ever, in my 8 years with a license. I've heard modern radial tires usually don't have problems like the older tires did.

keep it in the bed...wont fit anywhere else.

keep it in the bed!

Mine's under the bed where it belongs...only problem with that is when you need to change the tire you may have to lay on the ground and/or deal with road slop...I put my zuki spare cover over it to try to keep it clean...

Oh, and I also put my jumper cables in the hollow...beats flinging them around the back of the cab when I search for something...

I've never had an issue of where to put my spare.

The one on my 98 is under the bed in the factory location but my 93's is in the bed. For two reasons, it's a 31 and I can figure out that damn crazy mount. I'm going to cut it off anyway because with my body lift too much stuff hangs down. I'm either going to build a swing out tire carrier, buy a hitch mount spare tire carrier of mount it up against the bedside like this:

In the bed, as I realized the truck is way too low to get it out from underneath with the bottle jack if it was needed. Notice the the fancy trim work on my divider board.

Oh, and I'm just in the process of mounting my tonneau, that's what the bracket is for.

I paid $15 for rim rust grinding and resealing.

I thought of using the under bed space for storing other stuff, but it's not worth the cost of what I would have to buy in tools and materials to build and mount a rust-resistant container. If I need ballast there I could buy a junkyard wheel.

My spare that came with the truck is under the bed and the 31 in. spare is just sitting in the bed.
