yes i have 02 4x4 ranger 4.0 for Dayle driver. and i bought a 87 4x4 2.9 and 5sp trans. if i ever the miss out of engine, i have a 3'' body lift going to put on it. what is the widest wheel would you go with. it has the locking hubs so would 10'' be ok. i ask the same to you guys a while back on my 02. you said not to go over 8'' rims. so that's what i got for it. but this 87 is mainly for four wheel play. so if it brakes, i still have my 02 to get around in. but got to get it running right first, when you start it cold engine it has a small miss, after it warms up it runs better but still a slight miss. the truck has been setting for about five years put new gas and some stable and sea foam in the tank. it helped some. i'm all ears, if any ideals be thankful.
